We are a family of four, Fernando is 46 years old and I,
(Vanessa) will be 41 this year, we have 2 children Alex and
Isabelle, Alex will be 10 this fall and Isabelle 3 this August.
We are a family that enjoys traveling immensely, Fernando
and I (English) met in Spain, and moved to Mexico, where,
after traveling the whole country and living the zapatista
war in Chiapas, we settled down in Playa del Carmen, on
the Caribbean sea where we "turned" into a family.
Since then we have opened four restaurants and worked
in a Hotel as manager ( Fernando ) and chef ( myself ),
and also turned our home into a guest house where we
have enjoyed meeting people visiting from all over the
world.
Last year we visited Argentina and Chile for 45 days and
traveled in Motor home, to see how we got on, and to test
if we, as a family, could endure traveling for a long period
of time.
On this trip we intend to be preparing a book about our
experiences.
